Sportive Kids – Terms & Conditions
Sportive Kids provides the following Terms & Conditions, which apply to all customers from the point a booking is made and for as long as our services are used. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement.
By making a booking via our website or ClassForKids, you confirm that you:
• Agree to Sportive Kids’ Terms & Conditions
• Are aged 18 or over
• Provide accurate and up-to-date contact information
Our Service
Sportive Kids provides sports coaching sessions for children, booked via ClassForKids. We operate a zero-tolerance discrimination policy and welcome all children equally, regardless of background, ethnicity, religion, gender, or learning needs.
Bookings
All Sportive Kids sessions must be booked and paid for in advance via ClassForKids to secure a place.
Booking System
Sessions operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Session dates and times are primarily communicated via the school and confirmed through ClassForKids.
Once sessions are full, customers will be placed on a waiting list.
Waiting List
If a space becomes available, parents/guardians will be contacted via email and/or telephone. Payment must be completed within 24 hours to secure the space. Failure to pay within this timeframe will result in the space being offered to the next child on the waiting list.
Payment
All payments are processed online via ClassForKids. A confirmation email will be issued upon successful booking.
The session fee applies per child and per session, including sessions missed due to illness, holidays, or other personal commitments, regardless of notice given.
Sibling Discounts
Sibling discounts are automatically applied at checkout where applicable.
Booking Amendments
Bookings may be amended free of charge, subject to availability. This includes transferring between clubs or changing holiday camp dates.
Cancellations, Credits & Refunds
Cancellation by Customer
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made after 48 hours will be issued a credit note.
Credit Notes
Credit notes are issued as a code and may be used for future Sportive Kids school clubs or holiday camps.
Credit notes expire six months from the date of issue and are non-refundable.
Refunds
• If Sportive Kids cancels a session, a refund will be issued for that session.
• No refunds will be issued if sessions are cancelled due to school closure.
• Refunds are not available for missed sessions due to illness, holidays, appointments, or a child choosing not to attend.
Registers & Safeguarding
Attendance registers are taken at the start of each session in line with safeguarding requirements and shared with coaching staff and the school office.
• Children not on the register will be returned to the school office
• If a child is on the register but not present, the school office will be informed and Sportive Kids will contact parents/guardians
Going Home Alone & Collection Changes
Parents/guardians must notify Sportive Kids if a child is permitted to go home alone. This must be emailed to info@sportivekids.co.uk before the session begins.
If another adult is collecting a child, this must also be communicated in advance. Children will only be released once confirmation has been received.
Lateness
If you are running late to collect your child, please contact Sportive Kids on 07964 087311 and inform the school.
If no contact is made and you are more than 5 minutes late, Sportive Kids will attempt to contact you.
Persistent lateness may result in the child’s place being withdrawn, as coaches often have further commitments after sessions.
Wrap-Around Care
Please notify Sportive Kids and the coach directly if your child attends wrap-around care following a session.
Personal Belongings
Sportive Kids accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings. Any lost property found will be handed to the school at the end of the session.
Correct Attire
Children must wear suitable clothing and footwear for the activity.
Please ensure children are dressed appropriately for weather conditions, including coats in cold weather and sun protection in warmer weather.
Due to safeguarding guidelines, coaches cannot apply sun cream.
Drinks & Snacks
Children should bring a water bottle and have time for a snack before sessions begin. Snacks must comply with current school food safety guidelines. Chewing gum is not permitted.
Safeguarding
All Sportive Kids coaches hold an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding certification. Coaches are trained to identify and report safeguarding concerns, which will be escalated to senior staff and the school where appropriate.
Any disclosures will be treated seriously and handled in accordance with safeguarding procedures.
GDPR & Data Protection
Sportive Kids processes personal data in line with GDPR regulations. Data is stored securely, kept up to date, and removed when no longer required.
Children’s basic information may be shared internally to manage absences or illness.

Sportive Kids is committed to equal opportunities for all children and operates a strict zero-tolerance policy on discrimination. We expect the same respect from parents and guardians towards our staff.
Behaviour
We promote positive behaviour and sportsmanship at all times. Aggressive behaviour from children or adults will not be tolerated.
Sportive Kids reserves the right to withdraw a child from sessions or suspend future bookings due to persistent poor behaviour. No refunds will be issued in these circumstances.
Changes to These Terms
Sportive Kids reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions, parent handbooks, and booking descriptions at any time. Customers are advised to review them before each booking.
